If you are looking for Rockdale hotels, our Single Queen Room is small, slightly under 200 square feet, yet charming with one Queen-sized bed, a large armoire, and comfortable easy chair complete with a writing desk. SINGLE KING

One King Bed

As soon as you step into one of our rooms you’ll quickly realize that of all the hotels in Rockdale, TX, Rainbow Courts, by far offers the most charming, comfortable and elegant accommodations.

This Single Room King features premium furnishings including a King-sized bed, a large armoire, comfortable easy chair, and a writing desk. Other special amenities include premium linens, aromatherapy French milled soaps, and shampoos. Hairdryers are included in each bathroom.

The telephone system is direct dial and all in-room telephones have data ports and voice mail. Complementary high speed wireless internet is provided for all rooms. All TV’s have remote controls. The Double Rooms at Rainbow Courts deliver an exceptional lodging experience in Rockdale by including high-quality furnishings and additional space to further accommodate up to four guests. One of the most requested room types of any hotel or motel near Austin, the Single Suites are considerably larger than Single Rooms and are furnished with a Queen-sized bed, a large armoire, and a comfortable easy chair with a writing desk. All have a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave and a refrigerator.

All Single Suites offer premium furnishings and linens, high-speed wireless internet, in-room coffee service, aromatherapy bath products, hair dryers, a cable TV and direct dial phones with voicemail. Two of these suites are free-standing cottages which do not share common walls with adjacent rooms.

EXECUTIVE KING #31

One King Bed

Room #31 is larger than the standard king. It includes a love seat, closet, antique writing desk and comfortable living area beyond the bed.

This room also includes a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee service. In addition, the bathroom was recently remodeled with a marble shower.

Unlike the other Queen Suites, this room does not have a full kitchen but rather a "Galley Kitchen Area" with a refrigerator, sink, microwave and ample storage.

The bedroom area beyond the queen bed has a comfortable leather chair and ottoman. The bath has a large tile shower and pedestal sink.

Queen Sleeper Sofa with a Queen Size bed

This room is similar to a one bedroom apartment; a fully furnished eat-in kitchen, living room with a queen sleeper sofa and bedroom with a queen size bed separated by French Doors. The bedroom includes a large desk with additional TV and closet. The large bathroom has a tub shower combination, ample storage and pedestal sink. In addition, this is a stand-alone cottage.

DOUBLE QUEEN SUITES

Two Queen size beds

Rainbow Courts Motel offers three Double Queen Suites that are a wonderful option for families and guests. 

This Historic Schoolhouse was built in the late 1800's and provided two of the Double Queen Suites available at Rainbow Courts. The Schoolhouse was once considered the Talbot Ridge Schoolhouse located in a small community just outside of Rockdale. When the Rockdale ISD was established in the 1940's, the schoolhouse was purchased and moved to the mote property by Ira Benjamin Bullock, first generation owner of Rainbow Courts. He and his brother, Nathan Monroe Bullock went to school in this schoolhouse when it was located in the Talbot Ridge community.  The Double Queen Suites in the Historic Schoolhouse are all non-smoking. In addition to the two Queen size beds, the rooms have a full kitchen and walk in showers. One of the suites has a Queen size sleeper sofa.  The schoolhouse has a private yard area with several large trees, and outdoor table and chairs. 

The third Double Queen Suites, which is not located in the Schoolhouse, has two Queen size beds, a sofa seating area, a full kitchen, and a tub shower combination in the bath area. An eat-at-bar with stools separates the kitchen from the living area.

BOB WILLS ROOM #36

One Queen Bed

This is a large stand alone cottage with a queen bed and living room, eat-in kitchen and large bathroom with a tub shower combination.

The name is derived from the fact that Bob Wills of the Texas Playboys stayed in this room in the early 1950's.

The door going into the bathroom is one of the remaining original etched glass doors that dates back to the beginning of the motel. In addition, the bath is large enough to accommodate an antique corner cabinet to hold linens and bath products.

THE TENNESSEE WILLIAMS COTTAGE

One Queen size bed

The Cottage is a great alternative for those looking for Central Texas lodging as Rainbow Courts is centrally located between Austin, College Station, Temple, Round Rock, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas. The name is derived from the fact that playwright Tennessee Williams stayed there in 1940.

The Cottage at Rainbow Courts is a free-standing, luxury suite with one Queen-sized bed, a separate living room and one and one half baths. The Cottage is a non-smoking room and accommodates two adults. The cozy suite also includes a wet bar with coffee service and a private back deck with Adirondack chairs that overlook the lovely central lawn. The rooms are furnished with antiques including a writing desk, premium linens as well as a comfortable sofa and chairs. 

The spacious shower is equipped with a regular and rain shower head allowing guests multiple options.

The Cottage is furnished with a TV and DVD player in the living room. A TV and CD player is also provided in the bedroom. In addition, The Cottage guests enjoy high-speed wireless internet, aromatherapy bath products, hair dryer, a small refrigerator and cable TV.

THE GARDEN ROOM

The Garden Room is one of the most requested rooms at our historic motel in Texas. This free-standing building dates back to Rainbow Court's founding in 1918 and embodies the rich history of the business.

Once the original laundry facility, today this renovated luxury suite with a King-sized bed features several tall and beautiful windows that face the central lawn area and rear French Doors which open to a private patio overlooking a private garden. In addition, there is a full kitchen and this room is ADA compliant. 

As with all our rooms, the Garden Room is furnished with premium furnishings and linens, high-speed Wi-Fi, in-room coffee service, aromatherapy bath products, hair dryer, a refrigerator, cable TV. The Carriage House is a Premium Suite that offers luxury lodging among hotels in Rockdale.

The Carriage House was built in the 1880's before the motel was founded. Now, the upstairs free standing, beautifully furnished accommodation features a King-sized bed, a fully furnished eat -in kitchen and a living room/bedroom combination. The bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi whirlpool bathtub, a large separate shower, a TV and aromatherapy products. In addition to motel rooms and due to the historic nature of our property, Rainbow Courts Motel has one two bedroom apartment that we typically refer to as a Corporate Apartment. This apartment is intended for extended stay a bit longer that what typical hotel room would be used for such as corporate relocations, temporary housing, etc. They are completely furnished with the same qualities as the motel rooms but considerably larger with washers and dryers. All utilities are included including High Speed Wireless Internet with no utility deposits required. They receive housekeeping service twice each week.
